I might have overdone this, but different elements of earthly creatures are incorporated in this sculpture. They are the two-legged (human body), the four-legged (horns), birds (a feather on the head), fish (a fin and scales on the back), and insects (a butterfly on the chest). Something is needed between the horns, but I'm not sure yet what works the best. After putting it aside for awhile, I will take a look at it again.
I sure need determination to carry through difficulty and insecurity I've been feeling as an artist. "One creation at a time," I'm telling myself.

 I struggled with her (or does she look like a boy?) expression. At the end, I decided not to look at reference photos, but to go with my intuition. Hopefully I'll be able to bring more dramatic effect with colors.
 Instead of taking a workshop, I invested in Philippe Faraut's books on portrait sculpting. Reading the tutorials from cover to cover, I'm learning I've uncovered only the tip of an iceberg in this field. It's exciting to try new techniques.
