Here is one of my first practice sculpture pieces. I thought I would put a figurine like this in an egg-shaped enclosure with a wide crack. The head will poke out of the crack, but the face looks so content that he will not even consider escaping his confinement. People are often not even aware of their own prejudice constricting their own freedom. A comfortable environment that we are accustomed to living in may be another confinement that discourages us from stepping out into the unknown. However, I do not want to say it is a bad tendency. We do need home and principal ideas to form who we are. In the "Art in Progress" page, I would like to invite my friends and new followers to critique my work. It will help me further my thoughts and the creation in progress. Sculpture is a new medium for me. I am experimenting with how to create an "egg-shaped enclosure" for this piece. If you are aware of any materials or techniques to do so, please share them with me.
