Sculpture Show in Loveland, CO

Thank you for viewing my posts daily. The Sculpture in the Park Show allows the participating artists to bring a max of 15 pieces. I tried to cover a variety within the limit. These sculptures have been loaded into my car, and I am ready to hit the road.

The show will be held in Benson Park, Loveland, CO this weekend. I'll be in Tent B. Please come to say hello to me if you come.

More than 350 years ago, a monk Enkū (円空) wandered in Feudal Japan, carving wooden statues of the Buddha and writing poems in exchange for food and lodging. This piece was inspired by his work.

Humble joys of living were shared through his art. This poem, calligraphed in the back, is such an example: In the country of Hida - The first snow floats like flowers - In my mind - It was like the arrival of spring
