Yesterday I submitted an application for a residency program at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Montana. I feel tremendously relieved now. Going to the Bray has been my goal since before my departure to Japan. I detoured, but finally I've done everything possible to make the dream come true. If I'm accepted by the program, I will have an 24/7 access to their ceramic studio. I may also be able to receive a $5000 fellowship. I now have to wait anxiously for the result.
The images of my sculptures that I submitted to the program are posted below. For your fun, I included photos to show who were the models for the pieces. Click any of the images below to view the photo gallery.

WOW!! My favorites are the falling woman and the heads that come next. They are tremendously powerful and 'raw'. The firing process and the resulting finish seems to fit the images and with the content perfectly. Good Go!! Hugs. Kit
